The customer, Connected Beekeeping, sought a robust, reliable, and financially accessible antenna solution for their IoT beehive scales that could withstand harsh natural elements. They required a perfect external antenna for the data transmitter box to minimize the need for frequent physical check-ups on their apiaries. The vendor, Taoglas, provided a solution to this challenge.

Taoglas provided their FW.86.B.SMA.M flexible whip antenna, which was selected after benchmarking approximately 15 different models. This reliable and technically efficient antenna was integrated into Connected Beekeeping's Multiscale4 product, the first-ever scale capable of weighing four hives simultaneously. The solution helped the beekeeper achieve his goal of significantly reducing travel time for control visits, saving both time and money.
