Yum! Brands, the parent company of KFC, Pizza Hut and Taco Bell with over 41,000 restaurants in more than 125 countries, was hampered by fragmented store-development tools—nine mapping systems, a 15‑year‑old project management system and Excel-driven workflows—and inconsistent, locally purchased datasets that limited global growth. After two years trying to build a custom fix, Yum! turned to Tango and its scalable global platform to better acquire and manage store information and consolidate insights across markets.

Tango deployed a single multilingual, multi‑currency platform covering the full real‑estate lifecycle (market planning, site selection, franchising, predictive analytics and dashboarding), piloted in the UK and now live in more than 100 countries. The Tango solution standardized processes while allowing local variation, delivered a single source of truth, improved reporting and mapping consistency, provided better demographic data, and gave Yum! the scalable infrastructure to accelerate global expansion.
