Wendy’s, the global quick‑service restaurant chain with more than 6,700 locations, faced growing lease-administration and accounting challenges as its franchised and company-owned footprint expanded worldwide and the FASB ASC 842 deadline approached. After vetting multiple providers, Wendy’s selected Tango for its lease administration and lease accounting software and for Tango’s consultative, high-touch partnership approach.

Tango implemented its Store Lifecycle Management / Integrated Workplace Management System, with partner Jackson Cross Partners shipping, coding, scanning and abstracting over 6,000 paper lease files, migrating all payable and receivable transactions into a single system, and integrating with Oracle Financials. As a result, Wendy’s began reporting under the system in Q1 2019, achieved systematic, auditable ASC 842 disclosures, and realized substantially improved efficiency and faster turnaround times.
