Jewelry Television (JTV), a leading US jewelry retailer, sought to enhance its multi-channel online presence with a more interactive and immersive shopping experience. Their challenge was to move beyond standard product images and offer customers innovative, augmented reality tools to visualize jewelry, aiming for a consistent and engaging omnichannel strategy. To address this, JTV partnered with vendor Tangiblee and its AR platform.
Tangiblee implemented several solutions, including a photorealistic content studio, a comparison feature for sizing, and a web-based Virtual Try-On that allows customers to see jewelry on their own hand or on a model. The implementation was a success, leading JTV to expand the use of Tangiblee's Virtual Try-On to its sister site, Jedora. The vendor's technology helped JTV fulfill its mission by creating a more accessible and immersive one-stop jewelry shop, directly bringing an in-store experience to its online customers.
