Okamura, Japan's foremost office furniture maker, partnered with tangerine to address the growing need for flexible working arrangements within the workplace. They engaged in tangerine's Design Immersion program, a collaborative innovation and design leadership training service, to co-create solutions for this challenge.

Through the co-creation process, tangerine helped develop 'Co-comori', a modular work booth that can be reconfigured in minutes to support a range of work scenarios. This inventive solution to flexible working won critical acclaim and a Red Dot Award in 2021. The collaborative process also served to develop Okamura's internal team capabilities.
