Carosello 3000, a ski area in northern Italy, faced the challenge of providing reliable internet connectivity across its large slopes and facilities. With poor 3G/LTE coverage and international tourists deterred by roaming fees, they needed a solution to offer free Wi-Fi and boost engagement with their web services. They turned to the vendor Tanaza and implemented their Classic Hotspot software.

Tanaza's solution involved deploying 14 Ubiquiti access points running Classic Hotspot to provide seamless coverage. The system used a social login captive portal, allowing users to authenticate via Facebook or email and automatically reconnect. This implementation yielded significant results for Carosello 3000, generating tens of thousands of new user registrations from across Europe and dramatically increasing social media engagement and followers on their Facebook page.
