Transforming Insurance Certification IIAP's Innovative Leap with Talview

The Insurance Institute For Asia and the Pacific (IIAP), the only organization accredited to administer licensing exams for traditional life insurance in the Philippines, faced major disruption during COVID-19 as lockdowns and travel restrictions made its manual, in-person certification process impractical. Rather than building an online exam system from scratch, IIAP turned to Talview for an online assessment delivery platform.

Talview implemented a pilot of its AI-powered online proctoring and assessment platform, enabling IIAP to run remote exams smoothly for administrators and candidates. The solution helped IIAP expand from life insurance assessments to about 20 additional courses across life and non-life insurance, reduced its backlog of agency applications, and ensured uninterrupted licensure for new insurance agents.
