BNP Paribas Fortis, a Belgian bank of about 15,000 employees, faced a traditional, paper‑heavy onboarding process where individual managers handled welcomes, new hires were overwhelmed by slide decks and intranet searches, and one‑size‑fits‑all presentations failed to engage employees. To modernize onboarding and build stronger employer branding, BNP Paribas Fortis implemented Talmundo’s Onboarding App in 2015.
Using Talmundo, BNP Paribas Fortis created a co‑constructed, feedback‑driven onboarding experience with segmented, timely content, in‑app analytics (activation rates, open rates, top pages) and immersive cultural experiences like a 360° office tour. Since adopting Talmundo the bank has onboarded 550+ new hires, accelerated manager meetings and task completion, and converted new hires into engaged “BNP Members,” “BNP Clients” and “BNP Ambassadors,” expanding the app’s use beyond onboarding into long‑term culturebuilding and referrals.
