Kaddy, a marketplace connecting alcohol suppliers with trade customers, needed a better way for buyers and sellers to communicate directly on-platform instead of relying on off-platform tools like WhatsApp, Slack, and email. As the business grew and more first-time supplier-customer relationships formed, Kaddy wanted to reduce friction, preserve context, and cut down on support and follow-up work. To do this, they turned to TalkJS for embedded chat and messaging functionality.
Using TalkJS’s chat API and JavaScript SDK, Kaddy launched a buyer-seller chat with built-in email notifications and customizable UI themes, requiring only a small amount of custom development. The integration was deployed in just a few hours and refined over the following days. With TalkJS, Kaddy significantly reduced customer support workload and saw an estimated “-1000 conversations” shift to chat that would otherwise have happened off-platform or not at all.
