Leading Retail Company, a leading American apparel, gift, and accessories brand with more than 1,000 stores, wanted to attract customers who would shop both online and in physical locations as it expanded its brick-and-mortar footprint. Talkable implemented an omnichannel referral program that captured and analyzed online and in-store purchase data, enabled coupon redemption anywhere, and sent barcode coupons by email for in-store use. Talkable also launched geo-targeted referral offers near new store locations. The program delivered strong results: 29% of new customers redeemed their initial offer in physical stores, 80% made an in-store purchase within six months, and 57% bought both online and in-store within six months.
