Française des Jeux chooses the Talentsoft solution for job and competency planning

La Française des Jeux, the French national lottery and sports-betting operator with about 950 employees, needed to make its HR practices more forward-looking as the market prepared to open to competition in 2010. The company sought a way to map jobs and competencies, involve managers and unions in strategic workforce planning (GPEC), and introduce fair, transparent evaluation and development processes across multiple professional families.

They chose the TalentSoft Talent Management Suite delivered as a SaaS solution hosted at IBM Montpellier, configuring a centralized job and competency framework, evaluation scales, annual review workflows and decision-making/simulation tools, and integrating payroll data via import/export. After workshops and rapid configuration, the platform was live for reviews in January 2009 and by March 2009 had 90% of reviews entered; the rollout improved transparency and manager involvement, reduced subjectivity, enabled scenario planning and ongoing adjustments via a quarterly Jobs Observatory.
