Otto, the Hamburg-based online retailer, wanted better access to talent pools for hard-to-fill roles and a more effective way to improve applicant quality. To supplement its existing employee referral program, it worked with Talentry and its referral solution triplewin to add a digital component.
Talentry implemented triplewin for Otto’s 3,500 employees after a successful pilot, supported by internal communications, onboarding, and later single sign-on to drive adoption. The program now generates around 350 referrals and more than 2,000 applications each year, with 20% of referral applicants invited to interview versus 12% from other external channels, and employee referrals account for 10% of all hires at Otto.
