A TalentLMS Case Study

Preview of the Roland Case Study

How Roland upskills a global sales team in a hybrid work environment

Roland, the Japanese manufacturer of electronic musical instruments and software, needed a better way to train its global sales teams as work shifted from in-person sessions to hybrid and remote formats. With teams spread across Japan, Asia, Europe, and the Americas, Roland turned to TalentLMS to replace costly, time-consuming travel-based training and make learning more consistent, accessible, and engaging worldwide.

Using TalentLMS, Roland launched the Roland Academy, built portals for internal teams and distribution partners, and rolled out courses and assessments quickly—about 10 courses in the first week. Roland now has 178 courses in TalentLMS, with 9,588 course completions, 30,000 assignments completed, and over two years of training time delivered; the platform also supports global compliance training and visible reporting for HR. TalentLMS helped Roland scale learning, reduce language barriers, and create a culture of continuous upskilling.
