How Banca Ifis optimise its HR department

Banca Ifis, an Italian finance group with about 1,764 employees, had rapidly grown and — driven by a strong digital identity — needed to modernise HR by integrating processes into a single platform to automate routine tasks and free HR time for higher‑value work. The challenge was to redesign and digitise employee records, performance, training and reward management so managers and staff could access reliable, timely HR information.

Working with Talentia, Banca Ifis launched the Ifis Talent project: a phased rollout beginning with a new performance management system (Jan 2018), followed by org charts, colleague directories, objective setting, continuous feedback, a training module (July 2018) and a 2019 digitised reward system. The consolidated platform improved HR efficiency and data reliability, increased manager autonomy and employee engagement, and delivered measurable gains: training hours rose from 27% to 36%, 90% of employees received feedback within the initial deadline, and automated reward letters cut printing time by about three weeks.
