Redesigning HomeServe Now’s recruitment process

HomeServe, launching the new HomeServe Now app, needed to build Product and Engineering teams from scratch but had no hiring processes, workforce planning or sourcing strategies in place. To upskill the in-house team on recruitment metrics and go-to-market hiring plans they engaged Talentful for consultancy and internal talent support.

Talentful implemented workforce planning, role prioritisation, market mapping, structured sourcing, interview design and an onboarding plan, acting as HomeServe’s internal talent team. As a result Talentful built the entire Product and Engineering teams, introduced repeatable sourcing strategies, reduced reliance on outsourced software agencies, and kept the partnership live as of June 2020 — during which HomeServe also entered the FTSE 100.
