Schindler trains 5,000 frontline workers with TalentCards

Schindler, a leading global provider of elevators and escalators, faced the significant challenge of delivering effective safety and compliance training to over 65,000 employees spread across more than 100 countries. Their conventional training methods were expensive and inaccessible, especially for frontline technicians and subcontractors. This led Carlos Latorre, Head of Global Safety, to search for a new solution, which is how they discovered TalentCards.

Schindler implemented TalentCards, a mobile training platform using a flashcard methodology, to make learning accessible and improve knowledge retention. The solution was rolled out to frontline workers in South America, where nearly 90% of employees with smartphone access chose it over their previous system. The results included improved on-the-job performance, such as fewer mechanical problems, and technicians reporting they felt safer. Due to this success, Schindler plans a global rollout of the TalentCards platform.

Schindler
