Syndex is a 400‑employee French accounting firm that supports employee representatives across 23 business units and several European subsidiaries. Facing fragmented financial, accounting and HR data and relying on manual, Excel‑based processes, Syndex struggled to industrialize its BI chain and needed a way to integrate sources, improve data quality and speed up complex financial statement closings.

Syndex deployed Talend (starting with Talend Open Studio, then Talend Data Integration with partner Ysance) and added MyReport for analytics and secure portal access, automating the nightly production of 400–500 reports. The solution created a single version of the truth, improved traceability and data quality, cut the closing process by several weeks, democratized access to analyses and delivered an estimated productivity gain of 600 manpower‑days.
