Tape à l’œil is a French children’s fashion retailer (ages 0–16) with about 250 stores in France, additional locations in Belgium and Poland, nearly 1,000 employees and €250M revenue in 2019. Facing a legacy, batch-oriented data model that slowed product launches, inventory and customer insights, the company needed to speed up delivery of information across design, stores and online channels to support omnichannel sales and faster decision-making.
Tape à l’œil implemented a cloud data platform (SAP + Snowflake) and Talend Data Fabric (Real-Time Big Data and Stitch), with partners including Snowflake, Synergy and CGI, to unify and orchestrate data. The new setup delivered 100 streams in six months, enabled self-service analytics, and cut register-receipt reporting from one day to under 10 minutes, improving data quality, supply‑chain responsiveness and marketing insight from digital channels.
