A Talend Case Study
MOM Group (formed by the Materne and Mont Blanc merger) is a French agribusiness known for squeezable compotes and other fruit products (brands include Pom’Potes and GoGosqueeZ) with around 1,200 employees and four production sites in France and the USA. The company needed to integrate operational data to improve decision-making: its legacy ERP-linked ETL could not track sales, quantities, distribution or discounting across roughly 1,900 points of sale and proved insufficient for outgoing payments and other analyses.
MOM implemented Talend (starting with Talend Open Studio then Talend Data Integration) with partner Keyrus, establishing a development center and a multi-site deployment to decentralize interfaces and increase plant autonomy. The solution improved data qualification, transformations and quality alerts, feeding a product data warehouse and Cognos reporting to track site performance, detect production or component issues, and incorporate external market data—supporting about 70% of the group’s decision-making integration needs, lowering interface costs, speeding analysis, and enabling future real-time integration.
