F+W Media, a specialty media company founded in 1913 serving enthusiast communities across print, digital, events and ecommerce, struggled with fragmented data across multiple systems. With no enterprise “single version of the truth,” staff waited days for reports, got inconsistent answers from siloed report writers, and often made gut‑feel decisions instead of data‑driven ones.

To solve this, F+W deployed a cloud BI stack—Snowflake as the data warehouse and Talend Cloud (with a remote engine for on‑prem ERP/Oracle systems) as the secure data pipeline—integrating 30+ internal and external sources. The new system supports ~230 users, delivers consistent, fast answers, improves operational efficiency, and has moved the organization from intuition‑based to data‑driven decision making.
