Infopro Digital, a French B2B media and events group with 3,300 employees and €444M in sales, set out in 2019 to make data central to its business strategy. The company faced a major challenge: roughly 400 siloed databases and an operational infrastructure that could not support advanced analytics, making it difficult for sales and marketing teams to get clean, connected insights and for the company to meet GDPR requirements.
Infopro Digital implemented an AWS S3 data lake linked to a Snowflake warehouse, fed by Talend through sixty data flows and surfaced in Tableau, enabling rapid ingestion and transformation of siloed data. The new architecture delivered data-as-a-service, faster access for business users, improved traceability and GDPR compliance, reduced IT maintenance, and yielded monthly productivity and speed gains.
