Order Dynamics is a cloud software and big-data company serving more than 80 retail clients in 33 countries. It collects about 1 TB of customer retail data daily—inventory, returns, marketing metrics and more—but that data arrives in disparate, nonstandard formats. Legacy ETL tools couldn’t transform and deliver these streams fast enough for real-time decisioning, so the company needed greater power, flexibility and scalability.

Order Dynamics implemented Talend Data Integration on AWS, gaining broad connectivity (flat files, XML, APIs), node-based scalability, and the ability to extend jobs with custom Java alongside Talend’s drag-and-drop tooling. The result: processing times dropped from hours to seconds, developers onboarded and customized faster, licensing became predictably cost-effective on a per-developer basis, and the company improved productivity, customer satisfaction and capacity to grow its customer base.
