Anheuser‑Busch InBev (AB InBev), one of the world’s largest brewers with a portfolio of 500+ brands, faced a fragmented, hybrid IT landscape after many acquisitions—15 SAP instances, 27 ERP systems, 23 ETL tools and over 100 data sources—making it hard to get a single, GDPR‑compliant view of customers, supply chains and product data for timely strategic decisions.

After a successful proof of concept AB InBev standardized on Talend Data Integration and Talend Data Preparation, building a reusable framework and cloud data hub on Microsoft Azure to ingest real‑time, batch and IoT data. The platform integrated 100+ sources, cut development time from six months to six weeks, reduced ETL tools from 23 to one, improved data discovery and analytics (shifting teams from 20% to 70% analysis time), and enabled faster, data‑driven product, marketing and supply‑chain decisions.
