Holland & Barrett, the UK health and wellness retailer, wanted to launch a new Manuka honey range while raising awareness of genuine Manuka honey and protecting consumers from fakes. They needed content that would build authority, drive sales, and appeal to both their core female audience aged 35 to 50 and a younger health-conscious demographic. Takumi supported the campaign using micro-influencer marketing.
Takumi delivered a three-stage micro-influencer campaign with 100 vetted influencers across pre-launch, launch, and post-launch bursts, managing product seeding, content approval, and licensed content creation for paid social use. The campaign generated 100 pieces of high-quality content and helped Holland & Barrett achieve record Manuka honey sales, with sales up 90% year-on-year over the four-week period around launch. The content also reached 950,162 people and drove strong engagement and consideration across social channels.
