Carti Cancer Center, an independent not-for-profit cancer care provider, faced a challenge in its financial assistance program. Its team relied on manual, reactive processes like internet searches and spreadsheets to identify at-risk patients and match them with funding, which was time-consuming and led to missed opportunities. To address this, CARTI implemented the TailorMed platform.

The TailorMed solution used data and predictive analytics to proactively flag at-risk patients and match them with over 7,000 assistance resources, streamlining the enrollment process. As a result, CARTI secured over $2.3 million in claimed copay assistance in 2023 alone, a 63.6% increase from the previous year. TailorMed also helped achieve a 27.6% increase in patients assisted and a 35.7% increase in program approvals, significantly boosting revenue capture and reducing uncompensated care.
