OneAccess Networks Preparing for Tomorrow with Tail-f

OneAccess Networks, part of Ekinops, provides physical and virtual network functions for telecom operators, but its CLI-heavy management approach was slowing development as it redesigned its core networking stack for multi-core and future high-gig, virtualized services. To prepare for network virtualization and better support orchestration, the company looked for a more data-model-driven management solution and chose Tail-f ConfD.

Tail-f implemented a future-proof management plane for OneAccess with strong CLI support, NETCONF/YANG capability, and programmable northbound interfaces. The result was faster product integration with next-generation orchestrators, especially Cisco NSO, plus a flexible platform that preserved backward compatibility while positioning OneAccess to support NFV and virtualized service delivery from the ground up.
