The Very Group, owner of Very.co.uk and Littlewoods, is the UK’s largest integrated online retailer and financial services provider with over 4.5 million active customers. Looking to increase conversions, The Very Group worked with Taggstar to extend and refine its social proof messaging and to test a redesigned message experience on Very.co.uk using Taggstar’s social proof solution.
Taggstar expanded message types across the site (PLP messages tripled from 1 to 3, PDP messages rose from 7 to 11, basket messages from 2 to 3), added personalized “customers bought since your last visit” messaging, and introduced revised copy, a new colour palette and icons. The changes delivered measurable results: the messaging expansion produced a 1.17% conversion uplift in 19 days and the redesign delivered a 2.51% uplift in 18 days, demonstrating Taggstar’s positive impact on conversion and revenue.
