IDEAL OF SWEDEN sees 2.94% uplift in conversion after implementing social proof messaging from Taggstar during its Black Friday campaign

Ideal of Sweden is a Swedish lifestyle brand for fashion and tech accessories that wanted to increase website traffic and conversions, especially as it expanded internationally. The company also lacked social herding elements on its site, so it worked with Taggstar to test social proof messaging as a way to reassure shoppers and improve performance during peak trading periods.

Taggstar ran a proof of concept during Ideal of Sweden’s Black Friday campaign, testing 11 social proof message types across six regions on product display pages. The results showed a 2.94% uplift in conversion, a 2.43% increase in add-to-cart conversion, and a 2% uplift in completed purchases after add-to-cart, with the brand planning to test Taggstar’s messaging further on product listing and basket pages.
