A Tacton Case Study
Bromma, a global leader in container crane spreaders and part of Kalmar, designs highly customized, modular products used in more than 99 of the top 100 seaports. The company struggled with a complex product portfolio and slow, manual sales processes supported by legacy systems, which limited real-time pricing, configuration agility, and margin optimization.
Starting with Tacton CPQ in 2012 and expanding to full product integration by 2018, Bromma upgraded again in 2023 to connect CPQ with Salesforce and Google Cloud analytics. This end-to-end solution centralized sales and configuration, enabled real-time analytics for pricing and demand forecasting, improved supplier relationships for long-lead components, streamlined product management, and added sustainability tracking—delivering faster, data-driven decisions and measurable efficiency gains.
