Swisslog (formerly Accalon) is a Swedish manufacturer of warehouse and distribution systems—best known for highly customized stacker cranes for global customers like Walmart, Coca‑Cola and IKEA. Quoting and sizing these unique, complex cranes was a manual, engineering‑heavy process using Excel and Mathcad that could take about four hours per crane, creating a major sales bottleneck and hindering growth.

By implementing Tacton CPQ in 2003 Swisslog automated the configuration and heavy calculations, cutting per‑crane configuration time to roughly 10 minutes and enabling sales reps to produce budget quotes without engineering support.
