Vencomatic is a Dutch manufacturer of poultry-farming equipment selling through a global dealer network in over 70 countries. Rapid growth, complex product lines (25 product families with many options) and country-specific regulations made configuring and quoting accurate systems increasingly difficult, and their in‑house configurator was costly to maintain and inflexible for different customer starting points.
Vencomatic implemented Tacton CPQ, a constraint‑based configurator that supports multiple configuration approaches, prompted a rethink of product modularity, and was integrated with their SAP CRM/ERP. The new tool produces professional, regulation‑compliant quotes for dealers, captures product knowledge in the system, and has cut quotation time by roughly 40–50%, making the company faster and more competitive.
