Children’s Hospital Research Institute of Manitoba delivers interactive croup eBook with Tactica Interactive for emergency rooms across Canada

The Children’s Hospital Research Institute of Manitoba (CHRIM), in partnership with TREKK, needed to reduce parent anxiety in emergency rooms to improve care for children with croup. The challenge was to educate parents about the virus and its treatment, as heightened anxiety can worsen a child's symptoms. To address this, the customer worked with vendor Tactica Interactive.

Tactica Interactive created an interactive eBook and website, delivered on tablets in ERs, based on TREKK's existing storybooks. The digital format made the resource widely accessible and allowed for effectiveness evaluation through integrated analytics and user surveys. The solution was successfully delivered and is currently undergoing evaluation in emergency rooms across Canada.
