Black Dog Institute, an Australian mental health research institute, faced the challenge of meeting rising youth mental health demand amidst significant workforce shortages. The organization sought to advance blended models of care, which combine digital tools with clinician-led support, to expand access without compromising the essential element of human connection. To achieve this, they partnered with vendor Tacklit to enhance their ClearlyMe digital mental health program.

Tacklit provided its digital infrastructure via the Tacklit 360 platform to support the new blended care model. The solution enabled clinicians to prescribe specific ClearlyMe activities, track participant engagement, and incorporate digital progress into therapy sessions. This implementation, expected to launch in 2026, is designed to reinforce therapeutic relationships, improve engagement between sessions, and potentially increase service capacity for clinical psychologists.
