The Loop Drives 103% YoY Increase in Online Revenue with Taboola Ads

The Loop, owned by ARI International, operates duty‑free retail at Montreal International Airport and online, selling premium skincare, cosmetics, spirits and more. Facing the challenge of boosting awareness and online purchases for its Click & Collect service, The Loop needed to reach Canadian travelers likely to pass through the airport soon and convince them to prepay and pick up items in person.

Working with Taboola and The Oliver Agency, The Loop ran geotargeted mobile Image and Motion Ads across Taboola’s network, in English and French, and used the Taboola Pixel and SmartBid to retarget engaged users and optimize bids. The campaign highlighted specific products (notably Umberto Cesari wines) and drove a 200% YoY increase in website traffic, a 140% YoY rise in online customer transactions and a 103% YoY boost in online revenue.
