The Greek National Tourism Organization and Project Agora Drove 2.6m Video Views with Taboola Ads

The Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO), the government body charged with promoting travel to Greece, partnered with media-tech firm Project Agora to raise year-round awareness and make Greece a top-of-mind destination. Their challenge was to drive high-quality traffic to VisitGreece.gr and keep potential visitors engaged across multiple markets.

Using Taboola native Image and Video Ads across 12 countries, the campaign directed users to the GNTO homepage and then retargeted engaged visitors with Taboola Pixel–powered ads. The effort generated over 2.6 million video views and, with Project Agora’s retargeting strategy, reduced bounce rate by 11.5%, prompting plans to expand the collaboration.
