StartEngine, a crowdfunding platform that helps entrepreneurs remove funding barriers, partnered with Island Brands USA, a premium beer company, to raise capital to support local brewers and launch a new product line. Island Brands needed new investors beyond traditional search and social channels to meet its funding goals.
StartEngine worked with Taboola to run sponsored content and motion-ad campaigns across the open web and used the Taboola Pixel for retargeting and Data Marketplace segments. In just one and a half months the campaigns drove over $34,000 in investments with an overall 171% ROAS, including 711% ROAS from retargeting, 113% from motion ads, and 14% from Data Marketplace audiences.
