Placetel, Part of Cisco, Increases Brand Awareness with 80 Million Taboola Impressions

Placetel, a cloud-based calling and collaboration provider (part of Cisco since 2018), needed to boost B2B brand awareness in Germany and secure its first conversions from native advertising after falling short on search, social, and other native platforms.

Partnering with Taboola, Placetel ran native video and sponsored content, implemented the Taboola Pixel, and used retargeting plus automated Smartbid optimization. The campaigns delivered 80 million impressions and a 250% impressions lift; within six months native and programmatic sign-ups increased 750%, with retargeting driving roughly 33% of those sign-ups, prompting plans to expand to the UK and France.
