Samsung Life Direct, the digital marketing arm of Samsung Life, set out to boost online sales by increasing completions of its interactive insurance savings quote calculator. Search drove high-intent traffic but lacked scale, and other display channels were effective but costly, so the team needed a more efficient way to reach new audiences and drive quotes.
They partnered with Taboola to run native discovery campaigns on premium Korean publishers, pairing creative A/B testing with a gamified funnel that simplified the product for new users. In six months Taboola delivered more than 13,000 insurance quotes, a 7% conversion rate (a 63% lift from prior campaigns), and users from Taboola were 21% more likely to convert than those from other display networks.
