Outlook India, the online extension of the long-running print magazine Outlook (est. 1995) that relaunched its site in September 2021, sought to diversify revenue beyond Google AdSense and direct sales while preserving a strong reader experience. The publisher’s challenge was to add new monetization streams and innovative ad formats without disrupting its long-form, trusted journalism.

Outlook implemented Taboola Feed across its homepage, section, article and AMP pages, added a custom mid-article mobile ad carousel, and used features like Next Up and Explore More to re-engage visitors. This approach delivered a 350% increase in RPM and a 20% boost in ad visibility, opening new revenue opportunities.
