HuffPost Korea, launched in 2014 by The Hankyoreh and HuffPost US, is a digital news platform that needed to convert high-bounce visitors from search and social into loyal, engaged readers to sustain and grow on-site advertising revenue.
By implementing Taboola for Audience—including a Taboola Feed with NextUp, a right-rail organic widget, Taboola News placements on Samsung phones, Taboola Push notifications, and Taboola Newsroom analytics—HuffPost Korea increased engagement and traffic. The suite drove 18% of total page views (12% from Taboola Push, 6% from Taboola News), with the Feed’s organic recirculation contributing an additional 2–3% of traffic.
