Food Network Increases Video Views by 160%

Food Network UK, the online companion to the TV channel, delivers recipes, videos and lifestyle content and set out to build its UK presence by attracting a wider audience and increasing brand awareness.

By running two-pronged Taboola campaigns for text and video and leveraging Taboola’s targeting and recommendation algorithm, Food Network saw video views rise 160% (from 300k to 500k/month), pages per visit increase ~10%, and bounce rate fall ~23% on Taboola-referred traffic — outperforming search, social and other paid referrals. The top video, “Wedding Cake Disaster,” achieved a 0.27% CTR and over 150k clicks in May.
