CarScoops is an established online automotive magazine that attracts a large portion of its audience via organic search. Facing stagnant monetization from that organic traffic, the team sought new ways to scale ad revenue without compromising the reader experience.
They implemented Taboola Feed and an in-feed video slider across homepage, article and AMP pages, plus Explore More and mid-article placements on AMP. As a result, YoY gross revenue grew 3x (ad revenue +357%), gross RPM rose 157% (ad RPM +146%), pageviews increased 85%, Explore More delivered a 5.61% organic CTR, and mid-article placements boosted article RPM by 21%.
