Boxed is an online retailer that sells bulk products with fast, mostly free shipping and no membership fees, and a team known for a commitment to social good. After a “Today” Show segment highlighted their community efforts, Boxed’s challenge was to turn that earned media into increased brand awareness, sign-ups and sales from high-quality, long-term customers.
Boxed ran campaigns on the Taboola discovery platform to amplify the clip and used pixel-based tracking to measure impact. Taboola drove high-quality prospects that resulted in 1,496 sales from a single piece of content, more than 5,000 on-site actions, and a 3.18% lift in conversion rate—validating Taboola as a performance channel for customer acquisition.
