Aegon Drives More Than 65,000 Conversions in 9 months with Taboola

Aegon, a global health, life and savings insurer with over 28,000 employees across 25+ markets, needed new ways to reach relevant blog audiences and potential health insurance customers in Spain beyond search and social channels. Their challenge was to drive engaged traffic to health-related blog content and convert interested consumers into leads for their health insurance product.

Working with Taboola, Aegon ran Sponsored Content traffic and performance campaigns across premium publisher sites, using CTA buttons and Taboola SmartBid to optimize for engaged visits and cost per lead. In nine months the campaigns drove 65,547 engaged blog users and, over six months, generated 367 health insurance leads while reducing cost per lead by 65% and increasing conversion rate by 72%.
