The Chequers Inn, a traditional 17th-century village pub in Norfolk, had its first foray into electronic systems when it implemented the Tabology Pub EPOS in 2021. Tabology provided a flexible EPOS solution using iPad terminals that could be added or removed as needed for seasonal trade. The system streamlined operations with remote order routing, a digital bookings system, and integrated gift cards. The pub now benefits from robust back-office reporting and remote management capabilities, resulting in a more efficient operation that staff adapted to very well.
