Yota Networks, a global leader in LTE infrastructure (owned by Skartel LLC), faced a challenge turning sprawling, developer-driven Excel reports and region-by-region statistics into timely, accessible analytics. The company needed on-the-go visibility into network performance, utilization, faults and related operational data coming from Vertica and other systems across more than 30 regions.

By deploying Tableau, Yota built interactive dashboards that integrate Vertica, GIS, HP Service Manager, 1C and other sources, growing from one pilot project to 10+ dashboards spanning network, financial and operational metrics. Report creation shifted from lengthy specs and external developers to rapid, self-service weekly updates, producing dramatic time savings, broader adoption and data-driven decision making across the company—and a payback on the investment within weeks.
