Case Study: WWF achieves centralized global insights and brings conservation to life with Tableau Software

A Tableau Software Case Study

Preview of the WWF Case Study

WWF uses Tableau to bring conservation to life through data and connect over 7,000 employees in its global network

WWF, one of the world’s largest conservation organizations (founded in 1961), needed a better way to capture and communicate the impact of projects run across its federated network of 80 offices and more than 7,000 staff. Reliance on PowerPoint, dozens of Excel spreadsheets and a restrictive QlikView setup left reports out of date, made storytelling difficult, and kept data locked in local silos.

WWF implemented Tableau as a single, central analytics platform with live-connected visualizations, standardized templates and daily data refreshes. The move replaced dozens of spreadsheets with interactive dashboards, automated many reports, improved global collaboration and decision-making, reduced errors, and made conservation outcomes easier to demonstrate to managers and five million supporters.
