TVS Credit uses Tableau to monitor employee needs resulting from COVID-19

TVS Credit, an Indian non‑banking financial company serving two‑wheelers, used cars, tractors and MSMEs, faced the challenge of safeguarding the wellbeing of more than 14,000 employees across 130+ locations during COVID‑19. A senior‑led task force and a dedicated sub‑team needed a way to centrally track evolving employee needs—health, family care, financial aid, medicine, food and transport—on a daily basis to ensure timely support and business continuity.

Using a daily‑refreshed Tableau dashboard, the sub‑team could visualise and prioritise employee requests by category and location. The tool immediately flagged 100+ urgent medical cases and enabled rapid financial and logistical support; over time support requests declined as regional supervisors were empowered to resolve most issues. Employees reported feeling cared for, and TVS Credit extended the approach to weekly dashboards for upskilling and tracking training completion.
