Amica Insurance, a national writer of auto, homeowner, marine and personal excess liability insurance, needed a faster way for its Market Research team to analyze tens of thousands of advertising and direct-mail call records. Analysts had to sift call data by campaign source, geography, time, duration and other dimensions to find trends, relationships and outliers for senior management, and required a front-end tool that worked with Excel, Access, PowerPoint and SPSS, was easy to learn, and could be deployed quickly without heavy IT support.
