Strike is a Texas-based provider of pipeline, facilities, fabrication, maintenance and integrity services serving oil, gas, utility and power customers across North America. Rapid growth left Strike with little-to-no BI capability and fragmented data across ERP, field ticketing and fleet GPS systems; the company needed a nimble, low-cost analytics architecture that preserved security while giving users—from C‑level to field staff—access to the information they needed.

Strike partnered with Teknion to build a data warehouse and deploy Tableau Server as a single source of truth. Tableau lets the team quickly prototype reports, mash up ERP, GPS and operational data, and broadly share secure views. Results included actionable fleet insights (idle vs. active time), rapid remapping after an ERP upgrade with no downtime, and a quick Tableau-built corporate directory that avoided a $10–15K hardware purchase—saving the company thousands while democratizing data access.
